Ted “Teddy” C. Wade, age 68, passed away February 25, 2026 at home. Ted was born to the late Joseph “Joe” Wade and Bessie L. Campion (Amons) December 7, 1957 in Nashville Tennessee. Ted is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jim Wade and Troy Wade; sisters, Phyllis Wade and Carlene Bowers.
Ted was survived by children, Kassandra Wade and Kristina (Lucas Jasnowski Pascual) Wade; brother, Gary (Janet) Wade; sisters, Maurine Erwin, Nellie Martin, Robin Singer, and Melanie (Marvin Taylor) Neptune, as well as several very close friends.
Ted worked for 20+ years at Whirlpool of Marion. Teddy enjoyed his music, he loved attending local jam nights, and going to concerts. Ted had a passion for gardening around the house for many years, he liked cooking, and was one of the kindest souls you could meet. He always had something nice to say or a fun compliment to give. He was a movie, tv and history buff as well as an animal lover, having cats most of his life. He will be missed by everyone that knew him.
The family will be receiving friends Wednesday, March 4th, from 3PM-5PM. This will be a celebration of life, a moment to share memories, and reminisce on the good times. There will be a private interment at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made through the funeral home. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.munzpirnstill.com
