Ted R. Weeks Jr

Ted R. Weeks Jr., 70, of Conowingo Maryland, passed away in the comfort of his home on

January 30, 2026.

Ted was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He is survived by his loving wife,

JoAnn Weeks; his daughter, Amy Pietrowski, and her husband, Joseph Pietrowski; his cherished

granddaughter, Kylie Pietrowski; his son, Derek Weeks, and his significant other, Kristin Smith;

his three granddaughters, Annaleigh McCracken, Laila McCracken, and Mia McCracken; his

son, Ted Weeks III; his brother, Bill Weeks, and his wife, Diane Searfino.

Ted recently retired from Jerry Preston Hauling, following 30 years of dedicated work.

As an avid sports fan, Ted enjoyed watching the New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Steelers,

rarely missing a game. He was always prepared to talk about players and stats.

Ted took great pride in his home and yard, always finding a way to have the best landscaping in

town. On top of keeping his yard perfect, he loved playing cards with family and friends.

He will be deeply missed and remembered by all who knew him.

Per Ted's wishes, there will be no services. We invite you to celebrate Ted's memory in your own

ways. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research

Hospital, an organization Ted felt strongly about.
