Ted Young Obituary

Born in Danville on June 9, 1940, he was the son of the late Robert K. and Jennie M. (Rider) Young. He was married to the former Mary L. Meckley. Together they celebrated 29 years of marriage.
Ted was a 1959 graduate of Milton High School and retired from ACF in Milton. He loved racing, horses, fixing John Deere tractor and cars, family gatherings and homemade ice cream.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children Steven Young of West Milton, Jeffrey Young and his wife Hazie of New Columbia, and Brenda Young of West Milton, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, a sister Virginia (David) Edinger of West Milton, a sister-in-law Krystal Young of New Columbia and a brother-in-law Wayne Burrows of New Columbia.
Ted was preceded in death by a granddaughter, three brothers C. Scott Young, Robert K. Young Jr. and Robert K. Young III, and a sister Victoria Burrows.
Following Ted's wishes private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
