Teddy Ray Casey, 88, of
Piedmont, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Clark's Mountain Nursing Center in Piedmont. He was born in Ellington, MO, September 13, 1936, to Truman George and Veda (Johnson) Casey.
Teddy was a devoted husband, nurturing father, loving grandfather, brother, and friend. Teddy lived a full and meaningful life grounded in love, family, and faith. He married the love of his life, Peggy Joan Boyer, on June 25, 1956, and they were blessed with three sons. Teddy was of the Baptist faith and lived his life with quiet strength and dedication to those he loved.
In his younger years, Teddy enjoyed camping and fishing, and he remained an avid hunter throughout his life. He had a lifelong fascination with vehicles and was well-known for frequently trading cars with his friend and local salesman, Glen Tooke. A passionate NASCAR fan, he rarely missed watching a race.
Teddy was a proud past member of the Masonic Lodge #281 of Fenton. He entered apprentice on September 24, 1976, and he diligently worked his way up to the honored position of Master Mason on February 25, 1977, then he became the Worshipful Master of the Fenton Lodge on February 25, 1984. It was there that he formed many lasting friendships and exemplified the values of brotherhood and service. Among his many contributions, his fellow lodge brothers often remarked that Teddy was the best Senior Deacon there ever was-a testament to his dedication and character. After moving back to the area, Teddy transferred his membership to Masonic Lodge #526 of Piedmont, where his presence and participation were equally valued.
His commitment to the Masonic tradition mirrored the principles he lived by daily-integrity, kindness, and a quiet strength that left an indelible mark on those around him.
Above all, Teddy cherished his family. He took immense pride in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, always making time to be present in their lives. His legacy of kindness, humor, and love will live on in those who knew him best.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother: Carl Casey; and sister: Betty Logsden.
Teddy is survived by his devoted and loving wife of sixty-eight years; sons: Teddy Casey of Piedmont, Tony Casey and wife Sandy of Piedmont, Tim Casey and wife Nina of Hillsboro; grandchildren: Amanda Iglesias and husband Phillip, Katrina Haymen and husband Chris, Amy Casey and companion John Eaton, Andrea Casey; great-grandchildren: Bella Iglesias, Jayson Feinburg, Eli Haymen, Khloe Iglesias, Aubrey Eaton, and Ivy Haymen; his brother, Danny Casey of Florida; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
