Teddy Guinn

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Teddy Fain Guinn on March 4, 2025, at the age of 90. Ted was born on September 3, 1934, in Okemah, Oklahoma, to Jake and Helen Guinn.
Ted met the love of his life Dorothy Watts and was married on June 23, 1951 in Okemah, Oklahoma.
Ted was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy, parents Jake and Helen, along with his siblings, Floyd Guinn, Leta Mosley, Junior Guinn, Neomah McKeever and Elizabeth Guinn.
Ted is survived by siblings Brenda Ruby, Freda Swartz, and Pairlee Mosely; daughters Deborah Carrell (husband Alvin), Rhonda McBain, Vanessa Guinn; along with 5 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
After years of traveling with the fruit harvest, Ted and Dorothy settled in Firebaugh, California, where Ted, along with his business partner Butch Rusconi, started a successful trucking company, West Valley Module Movers. Ted and Dorothy retired to Checotah, Oklahoma. When Dorothy's health declined they moved back to California to be near family.
Ted will be remembered for the love he had for God, his family, friends and singing.
Services will be held at 10:00am on March 21, 2025, at Phipps-Dale Funeral Chapel, Lemoore, California. Interment will follow at Fresno Memorial Gardens, Fresno, California.
