When Tekia wasn't working, she spent her time travelling. She loved discovering places and sharing them with her loved ones. She had an adventurous spirit for always trying something new and exciting. Tekia was a devoted Thunder fan who held season tickets since the team moved to Oklahoma. She enthusiastically supported the Thunder through ups and downs, attending every home game and even some away games. Tekia was also a foodie at heart, enjoying both trying exotics cuisines and sharing her own cooking with her friends and family. She was truly a generous and giving soul, Tekia would do anything for the people close to her. Not only that, Tekia loved animals. She would spare no expense taking care of her own dogs and cat and Tekia even made sure to feed the geese at her property every single day.
Tekia was most definitely one of a kind. She was a bright and shining light, a beacon of comfort to all that knew her. Tekia will forever be deeply missed, leaving us all a little bit more empty inside.
