She is survived by: two sons, Don Piercy (Debbie) and Darrell Piercy; four grandchildren, Donovan Piercy (Carrie), Michael Piercy (Jane), Chris Piercy and Andrea Piercy; along with eight great grandkids. She is also survived by: one brother, Pierce Troxell; and one sister, Betty Coffey (Larry); along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her husband, Andy Piercy, she was preceded in death by: her son, David Glen Piercy; two siblings, Teddy Troxell and Doris Jones; two daughters-in-law, Connie Piercy and Phyllis Piercy; one grandson, Darrell Shawn Piercy; and one great-great granddaughter, Remi Price.
Mae was a loving Mother, Grandma, Sister, and Friend. She loved her family, and she loved to make quilts and sew. She worked outside the home at a factory for many years, enjoyed listening to gospel songs and going to church as long as her health permitted.
Mae was saved at an early age and was ready to take her Heavenly Journey Home.
Mae will be sadly missed by many.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 20, 2025, between 11 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
