TELLY DAVIS Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Stuart Mortuary, Inc. - Indianapolis on Jan. 14, 2026.
With heavy hearts, yet trusting in God's perfect will, we announce the earthly transition of Mr. Telly Demond Davis, who peacefully answered God's call on Monday, January 12, 2026, at the age of 45 years.

Born on May 3, 1980, in Anderson, Indiana, Telly was a cherished son, a devoted husband, a loving father, and a caring uncle. He was a man of strength, quiet wisdom, and unwavering love for his family. His presence filled every room with warmth, laughter, and a sense of safety that only he could provide.

As a husband, Telly loved deeply and faithfully, standing as a pillar of support, friendship, and commitment. As a father, he led by example-teaching integrity, resilience, and faith through both his words and his walk. As a son, he honored his mother with respect and gratitude. As an uncle, he was a mentor, protector, and source of encouragement, always ready with advice, humor, or a helping hand.

Telly was known for his strong work ethic, kind heart, gentle spirit, and servant's heart. His love for music, good food, sports, fixing things, and community service was unmatched. He believed in showing up for people and leaving places better than he found them. His life reflected unconditional love.

Telly accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at Anderson Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. J. T. Menifee, where he faithfully served as a youth usher.

In 1995, Telly moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, where he later graduated from Warren Central High School on May 27, 1998. He enlisted to serve in the U. S. Army National Guard in 1998, and he received an honorable discharge in 2000.

Telly was employed with Bluegreen Vacations as a Senior Supervisor of Club Services. He later worked at Lowe's Corporate Contact Center as an Operations Supervisor, where he met his loving wife, Ewana. He was the proud owner of F4 Transportation and Cliché Designz Printing Company, providing services to numerous customers and businesses, including athletic gear for Warren and Pike Township schools in Indianapolis, Indiana. At the time of his passing, Telly was employed with Group 1001 as a Policy Service Representative.

Telly was affectionately known as "The Book Bag King," a title he earned yearly during the Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church Community Day.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Katasha Alexander and Jada Clemmons; his maternal grandparents, Deacon Horace Jackson and Mother Ophelia Jackson; his great-grandmother, Artanner Williams; uncles Delano Jackson, Harson Jackson, Horace Jackson, Willie Boyd, John Brooks, and Josh McGrady; and aunts, Bernice Brooks, Jerline Parker, Ella Duson, Cynthia Jackson and beloved brother/cousin, Pastor Terry Bush.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving wife, Ewana; beloved children, Baby K, Duke, Mesha, Shay, Fat, Ari, Niyah, and Des.; grandchildren, Azaiah, Aubree, Reign, and Emir; his mother, Rev. Dr. Lardie (Dr. Mario) Elcock; sibling, Antonio Elcock; nieces, Jailyn and Macie; nephews, Johnathon and Jameel; aunts, Nora Boyd and Dorothy McGrady; uncles, John (Annie) Jackson, Sylvester Jackson, and Willie Jackson; mother and father-in-love, Darrell and Tameara Johnson; brothers-in-love and sisters-in-love; special cousins, Chris and Veda Dunson, extended family, and many dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

Though we mourn his physical absence, we rejoice in knowing that he now rests in eternal peace. His legacy of love, strength, and faith will live on through all who knew him.
