Tenna D. Pemberton, age 90, of Columbus, Ohio, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Tenna was born in Kermit, West Virginia to Thomas and Cora Moore.
Tenna loved God and her family and friends. She loved to listen to Bluegrass music and make her morning trip to McDonald’s to catch up on all the latest gossip. Tenna was the most honest, hard working, gentle and caring person. She brought so much joy and laughter into this world. Her smile always reached her eyes and her hugs always felt like home.
Tenna is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Cora Moore; brother Thomas Moore; sisters Ruth Moore, Ruby Messer, Pauline Akers, Delphia Kennedy and Anna Ford; son Douglas (Teresa) Pemberton; great grandson Dionte Stephens.
Tenna is survived by daughter Donna (Ron) Frazier; sister Rosa Moore; grandchildren Candida Alexander, Christopher Frazier, Stephanie Pemberton, and Douglas Pemberton Jr.; great grandchildren Channah Frazier-Rossello, Natalia (Michael) Skopis, Caleb Frazier, Anthony Alexander and Nash Berning; great great grandchildren MichaelAngelo Stephens and Kailani Stephens.
To honor Tenna’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
