Teresa Lynn Claerbout, 64, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.
She was born on August 13, 1958, in Sheboygan to Richard and Carol (Eichmann) Wachter. Teresa attended Sheboygan Falls High School and later married Daven Claerbout and together raised two children.
Teresa was an avid gardener and a dedicated workout instructor for many years. She was an active member of her church and enjoyed serving in various capacities.
Teresa was a remarkably passionate person. She was passionate in her political activism through the Sheboygan County Republican party and was unapologetically pro-life, volunteering and giving in various capacities. Above all, she was passionate about her faith–the cornerstone for her life.
When Teresa was just 10 years old, she was diagnosed with diabetes. It was since then that she knew her life could be short. With this, she lived every day to the fullest. She was full of life, creative, generous, kind, and will be dearly missed but forever cherished.
Teresa is survived by her loving family; daughter, Lindee (Eric) Brill of Oostburg and their children Abby, Preston, and Henry Brill; son, Billy (Nicole) of Sheboygan Falls and their children, Lola, Nora, Makehl Claerbout; parents, Richard, and Carol Wachter; sister, Chris (Jeff) Casper and their daughter, Brooke. She is further survived by other beloved family; boyfriend, David Berlin and his children, Anna and Abigail Berlin and her children Mayleigh, Grayson, and Maxwell.
A memorial service to celebrate Teresa’s life will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 222 N. Stafford St, Plymouth, WI, on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at 6:00 pm. Relatives and friends may greet the family at church from 2:00 pm until the time of service. Inurnment will take place at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Anchor of Hope.
