Teresa Edmonds

Teresa Ann Tone-Pah-Hote Edmonds from Anadarko, Ok made her final journey on May 15, 2023. She was born on November 3, 1948 to Murray Tone-Pah-Hote and Massalena Ahtone in Carnegie, OK. She was full blood Kiowa. She attended Carnegie Publics schools until her family relocated to Anadarko Ok. During her teen years, she attended Chilocco Indian School in Kay County. She attended The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma where she majored in Accounting. Teresa was a homemaker but she was well renowned for her beadwork.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Murray and Massalena, Spouses, Tommy Edmonds and Bucky Seymour, Jr. 2 sons, Anthony Edmonds and Murray Edmonds, 2 granddaughters, Fawn Edmonds and Hailey Edmonds, 4 sisters, Nellie Beartrack, Carol Huckleberry, Elizabeth Tone-Pah-Hote, and Ioleta Tone-Pah-Hote, and 2 brothers, William Beemer Tone-Pah-Hote and Donnie Tone-Pah-Hote.
Teresa is survived by her brother, Preston Tone-Pah-Hote, Sr & wife Deborah of Orrick, MO. Five sons, James & wife Shannon of Anadarko, OK. Carl Edmonds & wife, Janice of Warm Springs, OR. Terry Edmonds & wife, Arlinda of Whiteriver, AZ. Bucky Seymour, III of Anadarko and Michael Rodriguez of Midwest City. One daughter, Tara Munford and husband, Tony of Shawnee, OK.
Grandchildren: Jerry Prince and wife, Michelle of Anadarko, James Allen Prince, Sr and wife Rolonda from Anadarko, Glenda Marie Prince and companion Emmanuel Saravia of Oklahoma City, Kevin Dean Prince and his wife, Ruby Grounds from Havasupai Reservation, AZ, Miss Brandi Prince of Anadarko, OK, Michaela Stein along with her 3 children of Ada Ok. Terra Sue Ruark and husband Derrek of Oklahoma City, Thomas Casey and wife, Caroline of Colbert, OK, Malcolm Casey of Ada, OK, Michael Trey Edmonds and wife, Sherie of Ada, OK, Hayden Casey and Jayden Edmonds of Stonewall, OK, Kathryn Edmonds of Portland, OR, Devon Edmonds of Portland, OR, Logan Edmonds of Millcreek, OK, Tyler Suppah of Warm Springs, OR, Jon Edmonds & companion Jessica Little, Terrance Edmonds & wife Terra Morris Edmonds, Tatum Edmonds of Yukon, Ok, Andreas Cassa Edmonds of Whiteriver, AZ, Rhiana Locke & husband Alex of Rock Hill, SC, Layila Munford of Shawnee, Ok and Mee-shun Seymour of Anadarko, OK.

Teresa was blessed with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Wake Service will be at 7pm on May 22 at Smith Funeral Home in Anadarko, OK. Funeral service will be at Grace Church on Tuesday, May 23 at 11 am. Burial will be at Rainy Mountain Cemetery in Mt. View, OK. Services will be officiated by Rev. Rudolph Tartsah, Sr, Rev Ricky Horse, and Pastor Ted Mercer. Services under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Anadarko, OK.
