Teresa Ann Higgins

Teresa Ann (Wilson) Higgins, age 67, of Erwin, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at her home. A native of Erwin, Teresa is a daughter of the late Ward Paul and Mary Lee (Randolph) Wilson. She was a member of Canah Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Teresa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved all of her family dearly. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Alan Wilson, one niece, Misty Wilson; her father-in-law, Reverend Roscoe Higgins; and her mother-in-law, Mary "Louise" Higgins.
Teresa Ann (Wilson) Higgins has left behind to cherish her memory: husband, Mitchell Allen Higgins; son, Christopher Wilson, brothers: Randy Wilson (Lisa), Ward P. Wilson, Jr. (Sandy), and Robert Allen Wilson; sisters: Donna Kay Hayes (Roger) and Connie Harrell (Lecil); grandchildren: Nathaniel Wilson and Logan Wilson; and her beloved dogs: Jasper and Cooper.
A memorial service will be held in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.
