She is survived by her children, Richard Lloyd and Cora Lloyd, her siblings, Richard Shearer and his wife Dana, James Shearer, John Shearer and his wife Angel, Paul Shearer, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Teresa was born on January 12, 1961, in Clayton, New Jersey to Richard and Patricia Shearer and was raised in Norfolk, Virginia. She was a freelance title examiner for many companies and a realtor for four decades. She was a lover of animals who rescued and raised many animals, including horses, goats, dogs and cats. She will be remembered for her wisdom, kindness, generosity, sense of humor, and as an incredible role model to her family.
The family will receive friends at St. Pius X Catholic Church at 7800 Halprin Drive, Norfolk on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, from 10:15 to 10:45am. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00am in the church.
Interment will be at a later date at West Bradford Cemetery - 180 Hackett Hill Rd., Bradford, Vermont

Teresa, you were such a wonderful friend. I will miss you so much. Our long talks, jokes, the stories you'd share with me. The interest you had in everything going on in my life. You were truly one of a kind. The love you had for your children and your family was immeasurable. I know the last year was so terribly difficult for you. I pray that you are at peace now with the loved ones gone before you and all of your beloved animals. You my friend will be so missed. God speed. To the Lloyd and Shearer families, my deepest condolences. I will keep all of you in my prayers.
