Teresa Silva Perdomo, born on February 18, 1942, in Mexicali, Mexico, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025. She was a beloved figure in her community, known for her caring spirit and dedicated service for over 35 years with the Norwalk-La Mirada school district; retiring as a School Nurse. She also assisted for numerous years with the Norwalk All-City Youth Band. Her commitment to the health and well-being of countless children left an indelible mark on the lives she touched.
Throughout her life, Teresa had a deep passion for family and friends, often cherishing the time she spent with them. She found joy in simple pleasures, such as gardening and being surrounded by her beloved pets, especially her cherished cats. Teresa was also an adventurous soul who enjoyed traveling, with Tubutama, Sonora, Mexico, holding a special place in her heart. In addition, she embraced new experiences by taking hula lessons, demonstrating her vibrant spirit and willingness to explore the world around her.
Teresa is survived by her loving husband, Luis Alberto Perdomo, who was by her side through every step of their journey together. She was the proud mother of three sons: Jose Luis Perdomo (spouse: Tammy Perdomo), Armando Perdomo (spouse: Wendy Perdomo), and Ernesto Perdomo. Her family continued to grow, bringing her immense joy through her grandchildren: Anna Perdomo Mendez (spouse: Daniel Perdomo Mendez), Gabriel Perdomo, and Jesse Perdomo (spouse: Brigid Perdomo). Teresa was also a devoted great-grandmother to Naomi Miura and Rig Perdomo, who brought love and laughter into her life.
The warmth and kindness that Teresa embodied will always be remembered by those who knew her. Her legacy of compassion and love will continue to inspire her family and friends as they celebrate her remarkable life.
