Teresa Darlene Sweeney Clark

Teresa Darlene Sweeney Clark, 59 years of age of Jolo, WV, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at her home. Born July 3, 1964, in Welch, WV, she was the daughter of the late Vester and Birdie Mounts Sweeney.
Teresa was of the Christian faith, loved gardening, working in her flowers, playing her tablet, was an amazing cook, and, most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers Darnell Sweeney and Randall Sweeney Sr, and niece Keegan Sweeny.
Survivors include her husband of twenty two years Harley Clark Jr.; daughters Stephanie Sweeney and husband Chris Dobbs of Jolo, WV, Brittany Davis and wife Melanie Davis of Haysi, VA; grandsons Devon Stacey and Dameon Stacey; granddaughter Whitley Wagoner (Maw Maw's Girl); brothers Jerry Sweeney and companion Kay Kennedy of Bartley, WV, Danny Sweeney and wife Donna of Buckeye Hollow, WV, Eugene Sweeney of Atwell, WV, Keith Sweeney and wife Michelle of Bradshaw Mountain, WV, Dave Sweeney of Bug Hurley Hollow, WV, Kevin Sweeney and wife Keisha of Bradshaw, WV.
She is also survived by her ten nephews and nieces of West Virginia, three nephews and two nieces of Connecticut, and a host of other loving family and friends.
Funeral service for Teresa Darlene Sweeney Clark will be held at the Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home Chapel of Keen Mountain, VA, Monday, August 28, 2023 at 12:00 noon with Pastor Tommy Jenks officiating. Burial will follow in the Sweeney Family Cemetery, on Buckeye Hollow Road, Paynesville, WV.
Active pallbearers will be her family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Sunday, after 6:00 p.m. with evening services to be held at 7:00 p.m.
