Teresa Denise Davis, 63, went home to be with the Lord on November 2nd, 2021.
Teresa was a loving soul, born August 23rd, 1958 in Helen Arkansas. Teresa was born to Elizabeth (Frye) Pierson and Elbert Williams. In 1975, Teresa met her late husband Carl Davis in Chicago, Illinois. Teresa and Carl moved to Oklahoma in 1983 and was married on November 13th, 1983. Teresa and Carl raised four children together before Carl's passing on January 2nd, 2002.
Teresa spent the later years of her life being a wonderful mother, to her children. Teresa enjoyed spending her time in church where she was actively involved with the choir, church ministries, the church city mission in downtown OKC, reading and studying the bible. In 2011, Teresa started to get sick but did not let it slow her down. Since 2011, Teresa's faith grew stronger and she cherished her family time even more. Teresa enjoyed spending time with her children and grandkids, fishing, road trips, watching westerns, going on vacations, and keeping faith in God. Teresa is preceded in death by her husband Carl Davis, three brothers: Rickey Frye, Tyrone Williams, and Chester Williams, nieces Adrian and Andrea Pierson and one nephew Alfonzo Lee III.
Teresa leaves to cherish her memory her children: Tyrone Pierson, Alice Davis-Kyker, Emmanuel Davis, Sarah Davis, Richard Ward (Stepson), and Robert Kyker (son-in-law), her mother Elizabeth Pierson, brothers, Elgin Williams, Milton Pierson, and Larry Williams, sisters, Annette Williams, Regina Williams, and Cheryl Pierson, and several grandkids, and many nieces and nephews.
Teresa was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and grandparent who loved her family and God. Her family rests easy knowing she is now singing and dancing in heaven with the Lord.
