Teresa Ann "Terri" Williams, 63 of Tallapoosa, GA passed away, Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton with family at her side.
She was born November 25, 1961 in Atlanta, GA the daughter of the late, Hovis Willie "Billy" Williams and the late Gloria Annette Fannin Williams Ewings. Terri loved being an aunt. She always had big smiles for her great nieces and nephews. Terri enjoyed get togethers where she could always be counted on to bring a side dish. A side dish that was similar to the aunt in Christmas vacation.
Terri took pride that she could create you a website which she did for many businesses and many family members. Terri loved her animals. Her favorite was her dog, Lily.
Terri as a young adult started work at Six Flags where she ran the pizza pistol. She graduated from Pebblebrook High School. Terri attended Georgia State University then started work for Internal Revenue Service. She worked there for 10 years while she also was president of Georgia songwriters' association even received an award personally from then Governor Zell Miller for her hard work and dedication. Terri loved music and even managed several bands in her time including the pop band "Night Sharks".
As Terri grew up you knew she would have an interest in music as she often played her record player all day probably trying to escape the mischief of her little brother Hovis.
She always made it clear how annoying she found him and how she had to pave the way for him as she was the oldest in the pair. As she aged, she did come to appreciate all that her little brother was able to accomplish for her and she was grateful for him. She always referred to him affectionately as her "little brother". Terri greeted many family members with the joke starting … "Do You Know How to Sell a Chicken to A Deaf Man?" It became a running joke for all family.
Terri was an active member in caring for her mother in her long illness. She always called her at 4pm to check on her and would always sneak in all the junk food her mother could eat.
Terri loved her sports cars which included several red Trans Ams over the years. She is leaving those in her Will to her nephews. Terri was a daddy's girl. How fitting that her passing is the week of his birthday. She was of the Catholic faith and was a self- employed Web Designer.
