Con profundo dolor y amor en nuestros corazones, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida madre, abuela y amiga, Teresa Zarate, quien partió a la Casa del Señor el día domingo, 14 de septiembre de 2025, a la edad de 82.
Nació el 3 de julio del 1943 en Lima, Perú, y a lo largo de su vida fue un ejemplo de fe, fortaleza y alegría. Aunque enfrentó con valentía las pruebas de la enfermedad de Parkinson y el cáncer, nunca permitió que las dificultades apagaran su espíritu.
Al contrario, su vida fue un testimonio de esperanza y gratitud. Siempre encontraba un motivo para sonreír, cantar y bailar, recordándonos que la verdadera felicidad no depende de las circunstancias, sino del amor y la fe con que se vive. Su corazón agradecido y su energía positiva llenaban de luz cada espacio que habitaba.
Fue madre amorosa de Marco, Abel, Yanet, Carmen, Teresa, y Carlos, y tambien orgullosa abuela de Carlitos, Brian, Katherine, Kathy, Roger, Renzo, y Wilyanet. Fue un ejemplo de resiliencia para toda su familia. Sus enseñanzas de amor, su risa contagiosa y su espíritu inquebrantable permanecerán siempre vivos en nuestros corazones.
Su vida será honrada con un velorio y servicio fúnebre el día viernes, 19 de septiembre de 2025, de 4:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. en Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel. La Santa Misa de cuerpo presente se celebrará el sábado, 20 de septiembre de 2025 a las 9:30 a.m. en Church of the Holy Family, seguida por su sepelio en Greenwood Union Cemetery.
La familia Zarate agradece profundamente todas las muestras de cariño, oraciones y apoyo recibidas en estos momentos de tristeza, y pide que la recuerden siempre con alegría y fe.
