Teri K. McConnell, 63, of Anderson, passed away on January 4, 2022, at Community Hospital Anderson. She was born on August 1, 1958, in Anderson.
Teri was a 1976 graduate of Pendleton Heights High School.
She decided to continue her education and graduated from nursing school as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Teri dedicated her life to taking care of others. Teri worked at Rawlins House in Pendleton for the last 23 years.
Teri loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Sunday evenings were always reserved for family dinners. Teri was so full of life and loved to share that life with all she met. She was always quick to help anyone in need and was loved deeply by all her friends and family. Teri had a smile that would light up the room. Teri enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing with her grandchildren, and crafting with her daughters. She loved traveling and vacationing with her family and recently took trips to Myrtle Beach and Disney World. Teri had a love for all things ladybug, flamingo, and cats. Her cats, Zimmy and Holly, were her babies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pat and Floyd, and her two brothers, Marty and Russell.
Teri is survived by her husband of 37 years, David McConnell, Anderson; her daughters, Heather Wells (Chad), Anderson, and Chelsea McConnell, Noblesville; her grandchildren, Zachary "Zach" and Katelyn "Katie" Wells, Anderson; her sisters, Marlene Barnard, Elwood, and Lisa Dutterer (Aaron), Ft. Pierce, FL; her sisters-in-law, Debbie Gerber (Ron), Noblesville, and Robin Keith, Noblesville; her brother-in-law, Steve McConnell, Greenfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at 6:00 P.M. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd Street, Anderson, with visitation from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
