Teri Lynn Turrentine, unexpectedly passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 44. She was born on May 16, 1980 the daughter of James and Patti Turrentine.
Teri was a vibrant and spirited individual who brought joy and light to those around her. Known for her love of high heels and fashion, she had an unmistakable flair for style that perfectly reflected her bold and dynamic personality. Her passion for music, particularly as a devoted fan of Janet Jackson, brought her immense happiness and often inspired moments of celebration.
A true animal lover, Teri had a special fondness for cats, finding comfort and companionship in their presence. Above all else, she cherished her children deeply, drawing great joy from their love and the time they shared together.
Throughout her life, Teri faced challenges with remarkable resilience and an unwavering ability to make others smile. Her lively spirit and infectious energy left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She was preceded in death by her father James "Larry" Turrentine.
Her legacy lives on in her children, William James Turrentine-Hershey and Sara Jane Turrentine. As well as her lasting memory in her mother; Patti Turrentine; sisters; Laurie (Peter) Knall, Mary (Tom) Hanson, and Carrie Turrentine; Uncles Richard (Mary) Brandt, Ronald Brandt, and Carl (Charlene) Turrentine; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00pm, Feb 5th, at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
May her memory bring comfort to those who loved her and serve as a reminder of the joy she brought into the world.
