Our beloved father Terrance “Terry” Lee Feece passed away peacefully at Signature Health in Terre Haute, Indiana on February 9, 2025 at the age of 77.

Terry is survived and missed by his three children (and their partners), with ex-wife Sandra (Crow) Feece: Christopher Lee Feece, Todd Eric Feece (Tu-Hoa Hinh), Michelle Delaine Feece (Jesse Smiley). Forever cherished and remembered by his six grandchildren: Christohpher Feece (Emma Diamond), Andrew Feece, Lily Feece, Madilynn Feece, Maya Smiley, Ava Smiley and two great-grandchildren Paisley Feece and Colton Feece. Fondly remembered by his brother Douglas Feece and his wife Suzanne. His memory lives on with his nieces and nephews; Denise Feece, Jason Feece, and Amanda Sauer. On his ex-wife’s side: Julie Russell, Hans Crow, Heidi Dettloff, John R. Miller II, Karen Olotu, Paula Magambo, Pamela Punt, and Carol Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents Burton and Margaret Feece, and two siblings Brent A. Feece and Denise D. Feece.

Terry was born on February 19,1946 to Burton Jay Feece and Margaret Elaine (Overymeyer) in Plymouth, Indiana. After graduating from Plymouth High School he enlisted in the United States Navy in 1968 and served on the USS Bennington during the Vietnam War. During his service, his ship proudly recovered the crew and capsule from the Apollo 8 mission.

After his ship was decommissioned Terry returned home to Plymouth Indiana. He joined the family business and began working at Burt’s Body Shop. He continued to do so for 35 years. He also worked at Steve’s Carpet for a few years prior to his retirement.

Terry married Sandra in 1971 and they had three children together. Terry attended various churches over the years, with his most recent church home being Plymouth Wesleyan Church. Terry’s favorite place was the fishing cabin in Minnesota that his father and grandfather built. Terry would take his children there often for summer vacation. Terry had a lifelong passion for jigsaw puzzles and almost always had a puzzle in progress. He also enjoyed western movies, country music (or as he called it ‘honky-tonkin music’), and spending time outdoors. Terry was fond of eagles, wolves, Native American history, and anything patriotic . He also looked forward to attending the Blueberry Festival every year. Most of all Terry cherished his family. He proudly displayed as many pictures of his grandparents, parents, children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as possible on his walls. Terry had a unique approach to life and was once aptly described as “an eclectic fella”. His smile, laughter, and jokes will be sorely missed by those that knew and loved him.

The funeral will be held at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home Plymouth Indiana, February 22, 2025 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be the same day at 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
