Terrance Hewitt Obituary
Terrance M. “Terry” Hewitt, 86 of Sterling, died Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Allure of Sterling. Terry was born on October 23, 1939, in Aurora, IL, the son of Fred and Alice (Robinson) Hewitt.
Survivors include four daughters, Sandy Thacker, Susan (Michael) Dunn, Sarah (John) Kaecker, Sadie (Alan) Takaoka; three sons, Shane (Lisa) Hewitt, Sean Hewitt, and Shad (Jennifer) Hewitt; one brother, Dennis Hewitt; 19 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Fred, and Kenny; three sisters, Norma, Joan, and Sandy.
Cremation rites have been entrusted to Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Schilling Funeral Home, with Pastor Jeff Coester of The Big Red Church officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
A memorial has been established.
