Terrence Cartwright, born on May 28, 1982, passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 43 in Norfolk, Virginia. Terrence was a devoted father, loving fiancé, and cherished son whose presence will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
A brilliant mind with a passion for technology, Terrence pursued his studies at the University of Georgia, which laid the foundation for his career as an AI Specialist. He was driven by innovation and was diligently working towards establishing his own company, a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to his craft.
Beyond his professional achievements, Terrence had a vibrant zest for life. He delighted in gaming and cherished moments spent with friends, always ready to engage in debates about any topic with his sharp wit and intellect. A man's man, Terrence was perpetually prepared to rise to a challenge, embodying strength and resilience in all aspects of life.
Above all, Terrence's greatest pride and joy was his daughter, Lorelai, affectionately known as "Lulu." His love for her knew no bounds, and he was a devoted father who treasured every moment with her.
Terrence is survived by his beloved fiancé, Pravina Fernandez, and their daughter, Lorelai. He leaves behind his parents, Bruce C. Kwasha and Connie Blake, who will forever hold his memory dear. Terrence also leaves behind his siblings, Howard Kwasha and Christie Arnold as well as numerous family members, and a host of friends who were touched by his kindness and generosity.
A private family gathering to honor Terrence's life was held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Altmeyer Funeral Home and Cremations, Southside Chapel. Plans are underway for a Memorial Service to be held in October 2025, where friends and family will gather to celebrate the life of a remarkable man.
