Terrence A. 'Terry' Ethen

Terrence A. "Terry" Ethen, age 76, formerly of Virginia, Minn., passed away February 4, 2025.

Terry was born January 14, 1949, to Maurice E. and Eva (Sand) Ethen in St Cloud, Minn., and grew up in St Paul, Minn.

Terry graduated from St Bernard's High School in St Paul, Minn., and the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology and Carlson School of Business. He had a long career in banking and retired from Northern State Bank as Senior Vice President of Operations after 35 years of service. Terry loved fishing, hunting, playing cards, and watching old westerns and game shows. He was an active member of Ducks Unlimited, the Lions Club and many other clubs and charitable organizations in Virginia, Minn.

Survived by his mother, Eva; siblings, Joan (Raymond) Hines, Jean (Jack) Jenson, Chrisann (Donald) Jones, Daniel (Charlene), and Peter (Carolyn); 13 nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Maurice E.; brothers, Maurice D. and John; sister, LuAnne Aamodt; and niece, Jessica Jenson.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses of United Hospital 4400 Neurology ICU in St Paul, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Terry's memory to the charity of choice.

Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 12, at Maternity of Mary Catholic Church, 1414 N. Dale St., St. Paul. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday. Private entombment Calvary Cemetery.
