Terrence John Gross

Terrence John Gross, affectionately known as Terry, was born on June 25, 1966 and passed away on October 2, 2025.
Terry was a quiet man with a kind soul, earning the nickname "Talking Terry" for his gentle nature and warm spirit. He found immense joy in spending time with his beloved son, Jake, and they shared countless cherished moments together. Terry had a passion for golf, which he loved to play whenever he could, and he relished watching sports, often engaging in spirited discussions about stats and strategies with Jake. Their shared love for fantasy football fostered a deep bond, allowing them to create lasting memories.
Terry's proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly his son, Jake Gross, whom he supported with unwavering love and guidance. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and a profound impact on the lives of those who knew him. Terry will be remembered for his gentle heart and the joy he brought to his family and friends.
A tribute on Facebook from Jake: "Definitely the hardest thing I've had to go through and at a loss for words, dad I loved you more then you know, you were very quiet but always could talk to me, I wish there was one more beer one more round of golf but I know you're up there with grandpa, grandma, uncle Denny and uncle Bill vance finally at peace, I love you dad I'm going to miss you and I know you're watching me and taking care of me now. Terry is preceded in death by his parents, Jack (John) and Jacquelyn Gross and brother, Dennis Gross. He is survived by his beloved son, Jake; sister, Andrea (Gross) and Jim Loewen, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held from 5:00-7:30 PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Summit Funeral & Cremation, 6415 Carmen Ave E, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076.
