Sorry for the loss of a true friend.
May GOD be with him!
Terry was a friend from the 50s we worked together at RCA. I participated in his IKEDO classes along with 5 or 6 others from RCA.we worked and socialized together in a tight group of guys for many years. Our friendship lasted for many years both socially and at RCA untill layoffs separated the group.

I met Peirce Sensei at a seminar my home dojo in Kansas hosted in 1996. Peirce Sensei was already a senior teacher, and I was (speaking generously) an intermediate 2nd kyu. He was a kind and generous teacher, both then and when I met him again over the years at various big Ki Society seminars. I never was in a full class he taught, bit benefited from many mat-side lessons, and enjoyed many social chats at these events. Deepest condolences to his family and many, many students. We all shall miss him. His memory willo ever be a blessing.

I enjoyed and learned from a number of seminars led by Pierce Sensei in my early years of aikido training. His continued presence at many seminars through the years bore evidence of his deep understanding of aikido skills and love of the wisdom and lessons that our training can bring. Thank you Terry Pierce Sensei.
