Terri (Hogue) Feely, 67, of Ottawa, lost her life to Pancreatic Cancer on Friday, March 27, 2026 at her home.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Ottawa, with Rev. Philip Potaczek, Pastor, officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.
Terri was born on May 29, 1958 in Ottawa to James and Shirley (Jennings) Hogue. She was a graduate of Ottawa Township High School, class of 1976. Terri retired from the Illinois Department of Employment Security after 35 years of service. Terri married Gene Feely, Jr. on February 7, 2023. She enjoyed working in the yard and garden, and loved a good shopping trip. Terri was known for her wonderful and giving heart.
She is survived by her husband, Gene Feely; daughter Jillian Wawerski; step daughter, Kilene (Alex) Spicer; two grandsons, Onyx and Slate Spicer; her brother Michael (Tamara) Hogue; her niece Cara (Glenn) Manning; and nephew MJ Myre.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Cathi Myre, step mother Arliss Hogue, and step father Dr. John Harbeck.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Pet Project.
