Terri L. Hallik

Terri Lynn Hallik, 70, of rural Blackduck, MN died on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at the Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.
There will be a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Blackduck, MN, with a prayer service at 6:30 with Rev. Chris Leach officiating.
Terri was born on January 27, 1955 in Mt. Holly, New Jersey, the daughter of Albert and Doris (Morey) Anderson. She was raised in Chatsworth, NJ, attended Chatsworth Elementary and graduated from Pemberton Township High School in 1973. She married Frederick August Hallik, January 17th, 1974 in Mt. Holly, recently celebrating 51 years together. After living in Clearwater, FL for 2 years and Reno, Georgia for a year, they settled in Blackduck, MN and have resided there since. Terri worked at the Good Samaritan/Sanford Nursing Home in Blackduck, MN for 35 years. Her position at the nursing home was very dear to her heart, enjoying time with both staff and residents. She liked spending time with family, tending to her flower gardens, feeding & watching the birds in her yard, baking and cheering unconditionally for the MN Vikings. As a Follower of Christ Terri had a giving & charitable heart. Even in her final moments, she was still putting the needs of others before her own. Family always came first and everyone was family to Terri.
Terri is survived by her loving husband, Frederick Hallik of Blackduck, MN; children, Misty (Mike) Fischer of Bemidji, MN, Donna (Jeremy) Stroeing of Detroit Lakes, MN, Cody (Bobbie) Hallik of Bemidji, MN, Lora (Andy) Mistic of Nebish, MN, and Fred (Veronica) Sloan of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Alicia (Sam), Tyler, Sierra (Owen), Sydnee (Jake), Sadie, Sawyer, Sutton, Kenna, Ryan, Jake, Luke, Maggie, and Grace; great grandchildren, August and Harrison; mother, Doris Anderson of Chatsworth, NJ; sister, Donna (Elton) Horner of Chatsworth, NJ; brother, Albie Anderson of Chatsworth, NJ; sister-in-law, Phyllis Hallik of Dykeland, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her grandma, Eva Messler; father, Albert Anderson; sister-in-law, Ingrid Funtanilla; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Frederick & Catherine Hallik; and brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Ralph & Wynelle Hammet.
