Gregory John Davison, 58, of Northome, Minnesota died on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at the Sanford Good Samaritan Nursing Home of Blackduck, MN.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Blackduck, MN with Mark Widman officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior the funeral at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Northome, MN.

Greg was born on December 18, 1966, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Richard and Shirlee (Schmulske) Davison. In 1986, he married Bridget Hagen, and together they had two sons, Paul and Eric Davison. Following their separation and divorce, Greg and Bridget remained cordial and committed to putting the needs of their boys first.

On April 11, 1992, Greg married Becky, and together they raised four children: Gregory Jr., Timothy, Sarah, and Samantha. Greg's greatest passion in life was his family, and he treasured the time he spent with them. He also deeply valued his many friendships-some of which dated back to his high school and even elementary school days.

He had a soft spot for his dogs, a deep love for fishing, and a true appreciation for a good 80's movie or playlist. Fall Sundays were reserved for cheering (and sometimes groaning) for his beloved Minnesota Vikings. Greg had a great sense of humor, a generous heart, and a way of bringing light into the room-qualities that will be deeply missed.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Davison and Shirlee Inott, and by his beloved daughter, Sarah.

He is survived by his wife, Becky; his 6 children, Paul (Danni) Davison, Eric (Chrissy) Davison, Gregory Davison, Jr., Timothy Davison, Samantha Davison and Oxana (Chris) Haas; 5 grandchildren, Priya Kondos, Leslie Davison, Jonas Davison, Charlie Davison and Ben Davison; and many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
