Terri (McGowan) Pressnall, 64, of Arkansas City, Kansas, passed away Feb. 11, 2026, surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with glioblastoma.

Terri was born July 6, 1961, in Arkansas City to Ed and Millie McGowan. She graduated from Arkansas City High School and earned a degree in business administration from Southwestern College in 1983.

She married Lon Pressnall on June 18, 1983, at St. Paul United Methodist Church. Together, they built a life rooted in faith, family, and love in Arkansas City, where they raised their daughter, Alisha.

Terri was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her grandson, Reid, brought her endless joy. Family was at the center of her life.

She loved bowling and was especially proud to be a USBC Certified Silver Level Coach, coaching youth bowlers, sharing her skill, patience, and encouragement.

Terri was known for her warm smile and joyful spirit. Even through years of illness, her faith and strength remained steady.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ed McGowan; and her grandparents, Earl and Margaret McGowan, and Lloyd and Cleo Alcorn.

She is survived by her husband, Lon Pressnall; daughter, Alisha Pressnall Call and husband Dac; grandson, Reid; mother, Millie McGowan; brothers Eddie (Lynn) McGowan, John (Kathy) McGowan, and Dan (Sue) McGowan; sister Debbie (Kevin) Ledford; sisters-in-law Diana (Jimmy) Kendrick and Cindy (Jerry) Rhodes; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, at Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home. The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, at Arkansas City United Methodist Church, followed by a graveside service at Parker Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
