Terrie Jo Hobbs (Sybrant) was a woman of strength, resilience, and unyielding love. Born on April 9, 1967, in the scenic city of Juneau, AK, USA, Terrie brought warmth and joy to every soul she touched. Her carefree spirit, coupled with her love for antiquing and 'picking', made her a fascinating individual with an unmatched zest for life. Terrie was more than just a laborer in a factory; she was an artisan of life, crafting beautiful memories for those around her.
Throughout her life, Terrie Jo was known for her compassion and nurturing nature, attributes that were most evident in her dedication to taking care of her mother, Louise Sybrant-Wilson. She also held a special place in her heart for animals, often seen surrounded by her furry companions. Terrie Jo's love for her family was as vast as the Alaskan wilderness she hailed from and as comforting as the home she made in Joplin, Missouri, where she resided for the last ten years of her life.
Terrie Jo is survived by her loving son, David Hobbs, her devoted father, George Sybrant, and her adored mother, Louise Sybrant-Wilson, and a host of other family members. She will be remembered as a pillar of strength, a beacon of love, and a woman who lived life on her own terms. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of her family and the countless lives she touched.
No services will take place for Terrie. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Simpson Funeral Home.
