Terry Callihan, 62, of Batesville, Mississippi, passed away this past week.
A skilled craftsman and devoted family man, Terry was a retired self-employed carpenter and cabinet maker who spent his life building not just things—but relationships, memories, and a life rooted in faith, hard work, and love for the simple joys.
Terry had a deep love for vintage cars, long camping trips with friends, and the quiet peace of living in the country. Whether he was working with his hands or enjoying the outdoors, he found meaning in the beauty of creation and the presence of God in everyday life. His faith was a guiding force, shaping the way he lived and loved.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Kim Marshall Callihan. Survivors include his daughter, Ericka; his son, Everett; daughter-in-law, Lauren; and two beloved grandsons, LJ and Zephyr. His legacy will live on through them, in every moment spent creating, exploring, and loving deeply.
A celebration of Terry’s life will be held Saturday, August 9 at the Batesville First Methodist Church. Visitation will be at 3:00pm and a service will be held at 4:00pm. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the life of a man who gave so much of himself to others.
He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
