Terry Claude Canada, 69, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away from this earth on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. He was born on Monday, June 14, 1956 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Elsie Murl (Hutchinson) and Jack walker Canada.
Terry served in the United States Army, where he served overseas in Germany. After returning home he met the love of his life Antoinette Canada in February 1979 when he went to buy a car off her brother Bill. It was love at first sight. They went for a bike ride and were engaged 3 days later and married on April 15, 1979.
Over the years they welcomed 3 girls into the world. Terry was a hardworking man for all his life. He held many jobs, including sanitation, security, truck driving, most of it tree trimming, and retired from Rustin Concrete in Madill, Oklahoma. He was known as the concrete man in Marshall County.
He was preceded in death by his parents Elsie Murl Sinclair; stepfather Odell Sinclair; father Jack Walker Canada; sister Elsie Cheek; brothers Jimmy Porter, Tommy Canada, and Jerry Canada.
Terry is survived by his wife of the home Antoinette Canada; daughters Casandra Cook and husband Michael of Kingston, Oklahoma, Terrie Weant and husband Rowdy of Kingston, Oklahoma, Sarah Canada and fiancé Erik Taylor of Kingston, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren Makayla, Sajera, Laney and husband Riley, Destiny, Kelsie, Autumn, Jacob, Cheyenne, Skylar, Leland; 2 great grandchildren Stirling, Oaklyn; sister Gladys Beam of Leon, Oklahoma; brother Barney Canada of Leon, Oklahoma; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the Open Range Cowboy Church, 17880 Whiskey Creek Rd. Madill Oklahoma with Pastor Donnie Lehr officiating.
