Terry Lynn Cooper 68, of Jefferson City, MO, passed away peacefully
Tuesday September 23rd at 12:39 pm. Terry was born January
24th 1957 in Marshall, MO, the son of Robert Lee and Charlene
(Wyrick) Cooper. The brother of Libby Etter, and Shawn Cooper.
Terry has 7 childen, 23 grandchildren, 23 extended grandchildren,
5 great grandchildren, 1 unborn, and 6 extended great grandchildren.
Terry could make friends with anyone and enjoyed spending time
with people. He was an avid fisherman, he enjoyed boating,
bowfishing, hunting, mushroom hunting, being in nature, and
sitting on the porch during rainstorms. He was a machanic,
and loved tinkering with automobiles. If he wasn't on the water,
he was under a hood somewhere. He enjoyed motorcycles,
anything with a motor really. He could "rig" anything!
"Just needs a little T.L.C.," he would joke.
He was a survivor and taught his children everything necessary to
survive. He loved spending time with family and friends,
playing pool, having fish fries, listening to music, and singing
and dancing with his kids.
Terry also worked for the Railroad Company.
Survivors include: his brother Shawn Cooper, seven children, son Perry
Cooper(Nicole), daughter Lynn Cooper/Evans(Casey), daughter Christina Schaefer(Brandon),
daughter Melissa Cooper, daughter Laura Johnson(Christopher),
daughter Cherri James(Randy), son James Cooper(Emily), twenty
three grandchildren, twenty three extended grandchildren, five great
grandchildren, one unborn, and six extended great grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Robert Lee
and Charlene Cooper, and his sister Libby Etter.
