Terry Lynn Creek, born January 23, 1970, in Salina, KS, to Roger Melville & Marlene Creek. passed away on November 27, 2024, in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Terry worked in construction which included the building of steel buildings. He was known for his handyman skills as he could fix anything that needed repair. He enjoyed traveling, and with great determination Terry would stop at nothing to make it to his destination. Fishing, and cooking, were hobbies that he enjoyed during his spare time. Terry’s famous fried peaches were loved by the lucky ones who ate the delicious, sweet treat that he prepared for them with love. Being the life of the party was Terry’s also a huge part of his personality. Memorial Day weekend was his favorite time of year to have a get together and express his fun nature. Terry had recently learned he would be a grandfather and was thrilled by the news.
He is survived by his mother, Marlene Yarbro; brother, Robert Creek; daughter, Mariah Jones and son-in-law, Brandon Jones; son, Tyler Creek; and grandchild, Briar Jones, along with many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Melville Creek, and sister, Shawna Spreier.
No memorial service is planned at this time, but memories of Terry are welcomed and encouraged. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
