I just learned of Terry's passing from his friend and colleague, Tony. I am deeply shocked and saddened. My sympathies and prayers are with his family and friends.
I didn't know Terry well, but on occassion he would grace our bar with a smile and a wit that I will always keep in my heart.
Terry you are missed. My world lost more than a little sunlight today.

I worked with Terry at Corporate Report Minnesota from 1986-1989. He was a good friend and mentor who encouraged me to pursue a career in journalism, even though I was nothing more than a glorified secretary at the time.
We stayed in touch throughout the years and last spoke just a few weeks ago. He was always there to offer good advice and words of support and encouragement. I loved his laugh and dry sense of humor!
Terry was a kind, humble friend who touched the lives of many. He also was a true journalist -- the kind others can only aspire to be. I'm so grateful to have known him and, along with countless others, will miss him very much.

Knowing and working with Terry was such a privilege - my thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time of bewildering loss.

It's so sad to lose a man like Terry at such a young age. I remember when I hired him in the early 1980s to be a staff writer on Minnesota Business Journal. I believe it was his first job out of college and he was a tall, skinny, earnest kid who knew a lot about business writing. All his friends will miss him.

I have fond memories of visiting Terry and the Fiedlers on their farm in WI, when I was growing up. My sympathies go out to his family and people close to him.
