Mazomanie / Dodgeville – Terry Leigh Forseth, age 62, of Mazomanie passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, May 30, 2025 surrounded by his family.
He was born on September 25, 1962 in Dodgeville to Ronda (Leigh) Forseth. He was later adopted by James "Porky" Forseth.
After High School, Terry worked at Lands' End then in 1987 he went to the Chippewa Valley Technical College for Electrical Power Distribution. He worked for GTE in Dodgeville and then transferred to the phone center in Sun Prairie for several years. He worked for Mid-Plains Telephone and then, has worked at TDS for the last 27 years.
He enjoyed car shows and cruises in his Mustang and enjoyed any time spent with his son, Vincent. He loved to build "Forseth Fires" which meant they were very large! He also enjoyed watching the Packers and Badgers. Terry was very creative and enjoyed making things out of barrels, bottle lamps and making glasses out of bottles.
He is survived by his wife Dawn (DeVoss) Forseth and his son Vincent Forseth. He is further survived by his sisters, Kerry (Terry) Miller, Amie (Larry) Tremelling; brother, Gene (Stephanie) Forseth. Step-siblings, Lynn (Jim) Cowlin, Laurie (Mike Martin) Forseth, Larry (Melanie) Forseth, Lisa (Johnny) Johnsrud, and Lee (Marsy) Forseth; brother-in-law Paul (Melisa) DeVoss and sister-in-law Dora DeVoss, mother-in-law Catherine DeVoss. As well as many Nieces and Nephews and other relatives and family.
He was preceded in death by brothers Jamie and Joe Forseth, mother Ronda Forseth, grandparents Walter & Marie Leigh, and father-in-law Larry DeVoss.
Friends may call from 4 - 7 pm on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at the GORGEN-MCGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville, Wisconsin.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
