Terry Lee Jacobsen (64) passed away on October 31, 2022. Terry was born on July 25, 1958, to Laura Jean Carpenter and David O Jacobson.
Terry and his siblings got into quite a bit of mischief when he was younger, but they all thoroughly enjoyed it. He once put his brother Robert in the oven for eating his goldfish.
Terry married LouAnn Rasmussen on October 1, 1978, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had 3 amazing kids, Scott Alan, Jennifer Rose and Eric Matthew. Although Terry and LouAnn later divorced, they always loved each other.
Terry enjoyed wrestling in high school. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Utah Jazz. He would go fishing any chance he had. Scotty could never keep enough Mountain Dew in the fridge for him.
Terry had a seizure related to his thyroid in 2015 and was never quite able to make a come back. Terry is survived by his 3 children, his brothers Robert and Ernest, sister Tammy and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Kelly Stanworth. We are grateful for the staff at Raintree who have taken care of Terry for the past several years. We are grateful Terry is no longer suffering.
We know your reunion with Grandma was one of the happiest moments you’ve had in a long time. Until we meet again.
Funeral services will be held Friday November 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary 1867 No. Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah. Friends may visit family Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
