Terry Jensen Obituary
Rosewood Heights - Pastor Terry L. Jensen, 68, entered into Heaven on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
Born June 10, 1956 in Alameda, CA, he was the only child of US Air Force Master Sargent Eugene Jensen and Yoshiko (Otsuka) Jensen. He was proud of his Japanese heritage and grew up in the jungles of Okinawa.
"Pastor T" served as an American Baptist Pastor for many years. Most recently, he was Pastor of the Rosewood Heights Community Church.
He married Kathleen A. Fitzwalter Nov. 1, 1980 in Shalimar, FL. She survives, along with his children, Alexander Jensen of St. Louis, MO, Keiko Jensen of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Michaela (Daniel) Korrinhizer of St. Charles, MO, and Megumi Jensen of Fort Walton Beach. His grandchildren, who called him "Oji" were Simon, Gwendolyn, Aiya and Lilian, although Aiya called him "Paw Paw". He also is survived by loving extended family in California including aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced when details are available.
