Terry was a heart transplant patient he lived with that heart for 21 years he was a fighter and never gave up. He´s in a much better place than we are now and I´m going to miss him like crazy.
He worked at the old Merkel truck stop for many years. He also was a masonry he built all the old stuff that used to be at the Abilene zoo i would take him out there and push him around in a wheelchair and the stories he would tell you were just awesome. He went to work for Larry Whitten at the hotel on old 80 for several years as well.
He loved going to Ft.Phantom lake we would drive around and talk about the old days he was full of stories.
The last thing he ever asked me for was double bubble bubble gum and sunflower seeds lol he wasn´t a very big hit with the nurses at rehab because of those darn things but they never said a word to him.
I´m going to miss you Mr.Terry you were like family to us . Get on up there and go dancing you will never be forgotten here
