Terry Martin Obituary
Terry J. Martin passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the age of 73. He was born in Kalamazoo, MI on August 7, 1948, to the late Richard and Hilda (Terry) Martin. Terry married Carol McDonald on August 13, 1966 at his parent's home on Austin Lake. Together they raised four children and shared 55 years of marriage. Terry retired from Humphrey Products as a machinist in 2013. He enjoyed golfing, music, being out on the pontoon, tinkering with small engines and being the neighborhood handyman, but above all, he enjoyed the time with his family.
Terry is survived by his loving wife, Carol; children, LouAnn (Neil) Callahan, Terry (Tami) Martin Jr., Jessica (Steven) Roe, Kristin Feister; 9 grandchildren, Morgan, Sadie, Claire, Sydney, Abby, Jurnee, Rilynn, Jaceyon, Lenynn; siblings, Lou Homan, Donna (Dale) Simonton, Rick (Teri) Martin and Patti Hensley, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
A memorial service will be held Monday, January 17, 2022 at 4:00 pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Service 411 E Centre Ave. Portage, MI 49002. The family will greet friends from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
