Terry Ward Moser

Terry Moser, age 64, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at his home.  He was born on May 20, 1961 in Bulloch County to Thomas Ward and Evelyn Cowart Moser and had lived in Tattnall County most of life.

Throughout his life, Terry was recognized as the best mechanic in the area. His career spanned many years, beginning with his service at Dixie Auto Parts for four years, followed by a decade at Nesmith Chevrolet. He became a certified GM Mechanic and later owned and operated the GM Service Center in Glennville for twelve years, where his expertise and commitment to quality earned him the respect of many loyal customers. Afterward, he rounded out his remarkable career with twenty-one years at Lockheed Martin, where he continued to exemplify the qualities that made him outstanding in his profession.

Beyond his professional achievements, Terry was known for his warm personality and genuine love for his family. He was often referred to as the best uncle, demonstrating kindness and an easy-going nature that endeared him to relatives and friends alike. Terry's life was enriched by his hobbies, which included fishing and watching drag racing, pursuits that brought him joy and camaraderie with those who shared similar interests. He also had a deep affection for his two beloved dogs, Little Bit and Addie, who were a source of companionship in his life.

Terry took great pride in his community involvement, having served on the Reidsville and Collins fire department. This commitment to service was a testament to his character and his desire to make a difference in the lives of others. He is preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Moser.

He is survived by his son, Dewayne Moser of Glennville; his brother, Jimmy Moser of Claxton; sister-in-law, Vicki Moser of Collins; niece and nephews, Amanda Moser Peters of Collins, Michael (Angie) Moser of Glennville, Chris (Amanda) Moser of Claxton, Josh Moser of Claxton; special cousins, Louise Carter of Monroe, NC and Karla Brown of Collins; several great and great great nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on November 13, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Glennville Funeral Home, located at 403 W. Barnard Street, Glennville, GA 30427. A funeral service will be held the following day, November 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Collins Baptist Church on Live Oak Street, Collins.  Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Austin Thompson, Tucker Thompson, Mark Durrence, Randy Mosely, Joel Buttersworth, and Chris Moser.

Honorary pallbearers will be Craig Thompson, Dana Simmons, Lynn Chavis, Bill Grice, Michael Moser, Tim Jones, Tim Oliver, Josh Moser; members of the Collins and Reidsville Fire Department.
