She was an active member of the Gibson County Historical Society and served as the Gibson County Historian for five years. Due to her love of genealogy and reading, she served on the Princeton Library Board of Trustees for two terms. Terry enjoyed spending her time researching her and her husband's family members, taking time on vacations to visit courthouses, cemeteries, libraries and various other historical landmarks associated with our Nation's history. Terry attended the Methodist Church in Hazleton while she was young, the Presbyterian Church in Princeton and Wayman Chapel AME Church located in Lyles Station, Indiana with her husband.
