Terry L. Potter, age 64, of Henderson, KY, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.
Terry was a proud and well-educated nurse. She worked at the Methodist Hospital emergency room as well as several others. She enjoyed crafting, playing bingo and traveling. Terry loved watching her children play sports and adored her grandbabies. She enjoyed music that moved her, especially easy listening rock and 60's through 80's. Terry was an avid gardener. She was quiet in nature, but once she got to know you, she opened up as a best friend and would help anyone in need.
Terry was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Kathleen Tatum and her brother Charles Tatum.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years Jerry Potter of Henderson, KY; daughter Stephanie L. Potter of Henderson, KY; son Jeremy Potter (Andrea) of Jasper, IN; sister Vicki Karns of Henderson, KY; brother Greg Tatum (Medea) of Newburgh, IN; sister-in-law Heidi Tatum of Findley, OH; grandchildren: Brynn Arendt, Jaxson Arendt, Luna Petitt, and Callen Potter; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Terry's Life Celebration from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY with Brother Randy Jones officiating. Burial will follow after.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Henderson Humane Society, 203 Drury Lane, Henderson, KY, 42420.
