Donna was a hard worker, and she lived her life for her family. She loved all things involving the outdoors and loved planting flowers. Donna even mowed her own yard until she could not any longer. She enjoyed crocheting, singing in the choir, and working on puzzles. Donna was a wonderful mother, sister, friend, and even better wife.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband Larry Gene Henshaw, son Brad Lee Henshaw, and her parents William and Catherine Burton.
She is survived by her son Bryan Henshaw (Kim Pleasant-Morris); daughter-in-law Melinda Henshaw; grandson Brock Henshaw; her very special caregiver Angela Anderson; step-granddaughter Lyndsey Adkins (Lucas); step-grandson Cameron Patterson; step-great-granddaughter Reese Kellen; step-great-grandson Wylder Adkins; and her sister Thelma Craig (Ralph); as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the wonderful nurses and nursing assistants at Hermitage for taking such great care of Donna. They cannot express their gratitude enough.
A private ceremony will be held for immediate family only. Entombment will follow at Fairmont Mausoleum in Henderson, KY.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Henderson Fire Department, 332 Washington Street, Henderson, KY, 42420.
