Gregory Lynn Francis, age 70, of Henderson, KY, passed away at his home, Sunday, October 5, 2025.
Greg worked for South Central Bell and Gaither Telephone Repair Company until retirement. He was a proud member of Chapel Hill Church where he played guitar in their praise band. He was a UK Basketball and St. Louis Cardinals fan and also enjoyed fishing with his wife. He was a Christian man and devoted time to reading his Bible. Greg was close to his family and was a loving person through and through.
In addition to his parents, Aubrey and Annie Mae Francis, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Francis.
Greg is survived by his step-children, Tiffany Clark and Ricky Moore; sister, Vivian Ward; five step-grandchildren; a step-great-grandchild; niece, Tracey Cook; many great and great-great nieces & nephews; and his beloved Boston Terrier, Joey, all of Henderson, KY.
Relatives and friends are invited to Greg's Life Celebration from 12:00 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY, with Reverend Ted Burke officiating. Burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY, will follow at a later date.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Henderson Humane Society: 203 Drury Ln, Henderson, KY 42420.
