Gloria Jean Boyd was born to the late Charles and Ossie Boyd, Sr. on October 24, 1957. She departed this life on September 25th at 2:30 p.m. at Deaconess Henderson Hospital. Gloria was a very quiet, private, humble person. She never met a stranger and would do anything for anybody. Gloria loved cats, grape soda, and fried chicken. Whenever you would bring her food or anything she always said, "God Bless You!" She will be greatly missed by those who crossed her path. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 2 sisters Serilda Smith and Geraldine Green, 2 brothers Charles Boyd, Jr. and Darrell Boyd, as well as aunts and uncles. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her caregiver Cassandra Happoldt, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to say thank you to Henderson Nursing and Rehab for their care. There will be no services at this time. Arrangements entrusted to Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home, A Life Celebration® Home. Please visit www.bentongluntandtappfuneralhome.com to share memories and words of comfort with Gloria's family.
