Terry Pruitt Obituary
A native of Greenville, son of the late Rev. Pralo Joshua Pruitt and Patrice Center Pruitt, he was the co-owner of T.D. Paving LLC and a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church. He was a very active member of the Irving Southworth Lodge #350 and Bailey Masonic Lodge #146.
Surviving are his wife, Debbie Darlene Harrison Pruitt of the home; two daughters, Kimberly Pruitt-Hamby of Travelers Rest and Amy Pruitt Thorpe (Ron) of Greenville; two sons, Terry Lee Pruitt (Harley) of Greer and Derrick Pruitt of Greer; two step-children, Mark Rogers (Jodi) and Treena Cornforth (Justin); three brothers, Danny Pruitt (Connie) of Landrum, Dewayne Pruitt (Debra) of Travelers Rest, and Timothy Pruitt of Travelers Rest; four sisters, Vivian Lindsey (Rick) of Greer, Karen Epps (Dale) of Taylors, Melissa Plumblee (Anthony) of Travelers Rest, and Cecilia Pruitt (Glenn Green) of Greer; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Alexandria Leigh Pruitt, a great-granddaughter, Mae Lee Testerman, and a son-in-law, Sky Hamby
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2024, at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Dr. Tim Wofford. Burial will follow in Glassy Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic Rites.
Pallbearers will be Cody Giles, Joshua Giles, Eric Pruitt, Brian Pruitt, Jordan Gwinn, and Kevin Pruitt.
Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2024, at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home, 1937 Highway 414, Travelers Rest, SC 29690.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
