Terry Rabon Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McNutt Funeral Home - Conroe on Jun. 1, 2022.
Terry W. Rabon, age 66, beloved son, husband, father, and brother passed away peacefully on May 28, 2022, in Conroe, Texas. He was surrounded by his wife, brother and family while he dreamed of the things he loved and new adventures on the horizon.
Terry is survived by his wife, Diana, of 42 years; his mother, Juanita S. Rabon; his sons, Jason, Justin and James, and his brother Jim Rabon. He is preceded in death by his father George M. Rabon.
Terry was born on May 27, 1956, in Bay Minette, Alabama, to parents George and Juanita. He attended Baldwin County High School and held advanced trade and inspection certifications in coating, metallurgy, and welding. He has been a resident of Texas since 1975 and was the owner/operator of an engineering consulting company in the oil and gas industry.
Terry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He married Diana in 1979 and the couple had three children together. His children and grandchildren were his treasures and brought him great joy. Terry was the glue that held the family together and believed the memories he made with them meant everything.
Terry was physically active and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed car racing, boating, listening to Elvis and country music, watching University of Alabama football, outdoor cooking, and spending time with family. His family and friends will always remember him as a kind and loving person who enjoyed life, good times and laughter. Terry was a rabid Star Trek fan. As a true 'Trekkie' he would want his family and friends to live long and prosper. He was also an Alabama football fanatic and still hopes that LSU will always lose.
A funeral and memorial service will be scheduled in the future.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of St. Luke's Hospital, all the Cura Assisted Living staff and support team, and the Doctors Choice team members for their support and kindness.
In lieu of sending flowers the family asks that donations be made to a favorite charity in Terry's memory.
