Roger William Berge

Roger William Berge, 88, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, in Conroe, Texas, after a long illness.

Born to Oscar and Katherine Berge of Bisbee, North Dakota, Roger lived a life grounded in hard work, strength, and deep devotion to his family.

Roger was a man whose greatest pride and purpose was his children. He loved being a father. His work ethic was not just about providing - it was an expression of his love. He would do anything for his family, and his dedication to them defined his life.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Darlene, and his son, Thomas.

He is survived by his children, Joyce Vaughan, Gerald Berge, and Steve Berge; his siblings, Stanley Berge and Kenneth Berge; and his grandchildren Jacob, Nicole, Noah, William, and 2 great grandchildren Brianna and Gracin Ray.

Roger treasured time with family and friends and especially enjoyed playing pool with his sons, Steve and Jerry, his son - in-law Mike and his grandson Jacob. He lived a full and meaningful life and was blessed with 88 good years filled with love, laughter, and loyalty.

Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in knowing he is now in the arms of the Lord and reunited with his beloved family in Heaven.

He will be cremated and laid to rest in a direct burial alongside his son Thomas and his wife Darlene.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that acts of kindness be done in his memory.

He will be deeply missed, and his memory will be honored and cherished for the rest of our lives.
